General
- Are Korelabs programs free?
- Yes. Optimus, Coto and Dicto are free with no subscription, ads or artificial usage limits.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Download the installer or portable build and you're done. No registration or login.
- Do they work offline?
- Yes, once installed. All processing is local on your PC. You only need internet to download.
- Which Windows versions are supported?
- Windows 10 (64-bit) and Windows 11 (64-bit).
Optimus
- Is it safe to free RAM with Optimus?
- Optimus uses native Windows operations (working sets, standby, modified). It's reversible and shows before/after. Some features require running as administrator.
- Does Optimus really speed up RAM?
- It frees standby memory and cached RAM — it doesn't fake a percentage. Results depend on how much recoverable memory your system has at that moment.
- Does Optimus send data to servers?
- No. No hidden telemetry or cloud analytics.
Coto
- Does Coto upload my PDFs?
- No. All conversion and OCR happens on your machine. Your files never leave your PC.
- What formats does Coto support?
- Images (PNG, JPG, WebP…), PDF, Office documents and multilingual OCR. See the Coto landing for the latest list.
- Can I batch convert files?
- Yes. Coto includes a job queue for multiple files.
Dicto
- Does Dicto work without a GPU?
- Yes, with smaller Whisper models (tiny, base). Medium models perform better with GPU but it's not required.
- What languages does Dicto transcribe?
- Whisper auto-detects language and supports dozens of languages depending on the model.
- Can I export subtitles?
- Yes: TXT, SRT, VTT and DOCX.
